I love to learn. And I’ve been lucky to make a career out of creating learning experiences. As an editor, I collaborated with authors and subject matter experts to help translate their expertise into print, online, and mobile learning. In these partnerships, I worked with authors to define learning objectives and organize information in a way that facilitates learning.

As an instructional designer, I’m an advocate of putting learners’ needs at the center to create learning solutions that help them achieve their goals. I love using scenarios and real-world problems to engage learners and encourage real transfer of new knowledge. I’m devoted to minimizing cognitive load at every opportunity by chunking content into digestible segments and using visuals and audio to maximum effect.
